Why wait another day? Die today!

Pardon my rather morbid blog title, but it was spontaneous, and so it deserves to live. I'm now in the school library using the wireless network, which is so fast and fantastic. I'm very sleepy though, because I was insomniac again last night(or rather this morning.) What the heck, luckily I was only 5 minutes late.

Updates again. I've watched House of Flying Daggers and Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter ...and Spring. Both on the same night. Gee. The Zhang Yimou show wasn't quite as bad as the last one(Hero, which sucked) , but it wasn't that good either. Worse still, Andy Lau was in it. Yuck. It's full of exoticism (for western eyes) and the theme song (by soprano Kathleen Battle) didn't seem to fit into the show at all. The Korean show fared much better, I must say. Absolutely stunning scenery, simple but well-conveyed. Highly recommended. In fact I enjoyed it even more than the Return. The Return was good but I couldn't really get much of a message from it. To me it was just hauntingly chilling images.

On other news, I've told Mr R how I feel about him... again. He had his usual protests ('we agreed to try it out', ' noone knows what may happen in future', why are you giving up so fast' etc) But this time, he got it. I had to tell him how repulsive I felt about having physical contact with him. Thank God this time round he finally got the message. I'm so tired of trying. Of course if I wish it works, but it doesn't! Emotions are spontaneous, some things can be cultivated, but as for romance, you either have it, or you don't. Sticking your tongue forcefully into someone's mouth and suddenly grabbing his crotch in the lift is not my idea of physical intimacy! (Ok ok, maybe it's just because it's him) Oh well, it's not really his fault, let's just say we're not compatible. Much better being friends.

So it's me alone again, naturally. I quite like it this way. Not dating, not seeking. Just being the slob that I am. (*Rubs bulging tummy*) Lovely.
